Cedar Hill Food Pantry - Sharing the Bread

We are here for you. The community of Cedar Hill recognizes the need for “Sharing The Bread”. If you are in that temporary place of transition and need assistance, please click here.

We also need help from those more fortunate. If you can help with our mission - please volunteer, make a donation, or visit our New2You thrift store.

The Food Pantry distributes food every month to approximately 400 families. This number has increased more than 200% in the last 5 years.

Each member of the family receives a food parcel every two weeks. In 2009, we distributed 14,518 individual food parcels to our neighbors in need.

The Pantry

We are who we are because of the tremendous heart of this community.

$1 will provide 4 meals

$5 will provide 20 meals

$10 will provide 40 meals

$280 will buy 1 ton of food

More than half of the people we serve are children. 10% of our clients are seniors on a fixed income. Please help us help them.

Each month, the Pantry needs

1.460 tomato products
2,920 cans of vegetables
1,460 soups
1,460 cans of fruit
1,460 cans of meat
1,460 pkgs of pasta, rice, or dried beans
1,460 boxes of cereal
