You Transformed Super Bowl to Souper Bowl

Thank you, one and all, for joining Souper Bowl of Caring. We are one month after the date of Feb. 7 and food is still coming in! So far, we have received over 2200 items of food plus $150 cash. Stay tuned, we will post the totals weekly.
Who participated? ... Everyone!
The event truly mobilized congregations, schools and businesses to positively impact their communities by collecting money or food on or near Super Bowl weekend. 100% of the collections donated went directly to the charity of each group's choice.
We are grateful you choose Cedar Hill Food Pantry.
Fourth Annual Luncheon and Style Show
August 12, 2010
The purpose of the style show is to raise awareness of the quality of New2You Thrift Store and to continue the good work of the Cedar Hill Food Pantry. Models will be wearing clothes previously donated to the award winning New2You Thrift Store. Sandy Eddy, store manager, and her volunteers are very proud of being named Today Newspaper's Southwest Resale Store of 2009. This award comes from the community.
Gene Sims, Executive Director, says that she is hoping this year will be as good, if not better than the last three. Also, since the economy has been down our client numbers are up. She would love to see more people there, as well as more sponsors. So mark your calendars for Thursday, August 12, 2010 and come support these two organizations to become even more of a success than they already are, in their only fundraiser of the year.
Tickets may be purchased at $15 each. They are avaliable at both Cedar Hill Food Pantry and New2You
